BOURBON STEAK at Four Seasons Hotel Washington DC Launches New Seasonal Cocktail Menu Including a Mix of Classic, House and Market Fresh Cocktails

Bitters, brandies and bourbons take centre stage in the new cocktail lineup created by Head Bartenders Jamie MacBain and Duane Sylvestre

Washington, DC, U.S.A. – 2012-11-26 — / — BOURBON STEAK at Four Seasons Hotel Washington DC has unveiled a new cocktail menu created by Head Bartenders Jamie MacBain and Duane Sylvestre.

Resurrected from an age of skilled sartorialists, the Dandy makes an appearance this season with its smooth combination of Rittenhouse rye, Dubbonet Rouge, Cointreau, bitters and citrus twists. Hot on the Dandy’s heels but unrelated to any moral standing is another classic, the Double Standard. Allegedly named after a period in American history when the country was split between backing the gold standard and a combination of the gold and silver, the drink combines rye, genever, fresh lemon and raspberry syrup.

Foie fans will find their muse in The Henderson, a rich foie gras-infused Tariquet VSOP Bas Armagnac, while rum lovers will gravitate toward Crude Oil, a spicy combination of Batavia Arrack, habanero cane syrup, fresh lime and club soda.

Cocktail enthusiasts following the seasons have a selection of market-led drinks such as Chimayo with tequila, unfiltered apple cider, fresh lemon and crème de mure, and Red Jacket Fizz with Averell Damson gin, fresh lemon, cinnamon syrup, egg white and soda water.

As always, BOURBON STEAK will offers a variety of non-alcoholic cocktails including Hazelnut Fizz with hazelnut syrup, soda water lemon twist and S.A. Tea, a refreshing combination of satsuma syrup and house brewed tea. The complete new cocktail menu is included below.
