Blue Islands to fly visitors from The Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland to Guernsey and Jersey throughout 2022

Jersey, Guernsey, 2022-Apr-22 — /Travel PR News/ — Blue Islands has been selected by leading European tour operators as the partner airline flying visitors from The Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland to Guernsey and Jersey throughout 2022.

The European charter programme will see up to 44,000 visitor nights in the islands and a potential spend of up to £6m in the visitor economy, a substantial value that has been absent for the past two years due to the pandemic.

President of the Committee for Economic Development, Deputy Neil Inder, said “It is very important for the Islands of Guernsey to develop these European links with our tour operator partners. These services offer a great opportunity to increase visitor numbers from the Swiss, German and Dutch market. We look forward to welcoming their passengers this season.”

The first flights arrived from Bremen and Stuttgart at the weekend to commence the busy summer charter programme from 20 German airports through to October on behalf of Globalis. Tour operators Rolf Meier Reisen and Sunair will be welcoming guests from Zurich, Rotterdam and Groningen.
