Bentonville Convention & Vistiors Bureau Hires New Meeting Sales Manager

Bentonville, AR, 2013-07-18 — /travelprnews.com/ — The Bentonville Convention and Visitors Bureau is excited to announce their new hire, Darrel Harvey, as the Meeting Sales Manager.

Darrel has experience on both sides of the convention arena attending conferences around the country as well as planning and facilitating one day events, weekend seminars, and week-long gatherings in multiple environments.  He is a master networker and is no stranger to community service.

Darrel is a gifted public speaker equally comfortable presenting to a small group or a crowd numbering in the thousands.  Furthermore, Darrel is passionate about leadership development and recently explored non-traditional ways to develop leaders through outdoor adventure.

Since 2004, Darrel has backpacked nearly 1000 miles with over 65 different individuals from a variety of backgrounds, ages, and occupations.  He has helped students, teachers, business leaders, pastors, coaches, and medical professionals process next steps in their own personal journeys.

Darrel is married to Krista, a teacher at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Bentonville and is the father of three adult children: Tyler of Denver, CO; Zack of Arlington, VA; and Ally of Flushing, MI.
