Diabetes is a chronic disease that is caused when the pancreas doesn’t produce insulin at all or doesn’t produce enough insulin for the body, leading to an increased concentration of glucose in the blood. Therefore the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) & WHO created the World Diabetes Day in 1991 to highlight the importance of spreading awareness to the global audience through creating “Blue Circle” logo requesting the publics to support the cause.
