France, 2017-Apr-09 — /Travel PR News/ — To meet increased demand over the spring break school holidays and the end of the school year, Air France plans to increase the frequency of its medium-haul flights to and from several European and North-African destinations. In total, between April and June, the Company will operate 138 additional flights.

– The week-end of 8 April and Easter weekend, 24 additional flights will be operated to Madrid, Marrakech, Naples and Rome representing a 15% increase in capacity to these destinations.

– From 24 to 31 May, for the Ascension public holiday period, 20 additional flights will be operated to Barcelona, Florence, Madrid, Rome and Stockholm, representing a 7% increase in capacity to these destinations.

– Throughout June, 94 additional flights will be operated to Barcelona, Madrid and Stockholm, representing a 12% increase in capacity to these destinations.

This new offer is in line with the Air France-KLM group’s offensive strategy within its Trust Together project. The growth of the Group’s fleet combined with a more intensive use of its aircraft, allow it to optimize the flight schedule to meet higher seasonal demand.
