Aeroflot hosted business meeting in Shenzhen, China with Chinese aviation, tourism and logistic industry representatives

Moscow, 2014-12-29 — /Travel PR News/ — On December 23, 2014, Aeroflot hosted a business meeting in Shenzhen, China with Chinese aviation, tourism and logistic industry representatives. The Company presented on its current position and prospects in the region.

Aeroflot Group, the leader of the Russian aviation market, was represented at the meeting by Alexander Lukashin, Head of International PR Division, and Nikita Krichevskiy, Member of Aeroflot Public Council, Doctor of Science, Professor.

Aeroflot’s representatives underscored that China is one of the top key markets for the Group, with Beijing and Shanghai as the most popular routes. Transit passengers traffic to and from China is one of the Company’s major network forming factors, and is continuously growing. Nearly 60% of Aeroflot passenger traffic on routes from China represents international transit. Aeroflot plans to increase the number of flights per week to Beijing (the most popular Chinese destination in 2014) to 17 flights.

The discussion was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, and participants concluded that the future development and strengthening of the business relationship between the two countries is an extremely significant strategic move for both Russia and China.
