Accor to Open Raffles Ranthambore and Sofitel Legend Jaipur, Bringing Iconic Luxury to Rajasthan by 2028

The Raffles resort will open in 2027, blending safari adventure with elegant design, while the Sofitel Legend, opening in 2028, will feature extensive gardens, luxury amenities, and 6,500 sqm of event space. These openings reflect Accor’s expanding presence in India and commitment to heritage-infused luxury experiences across culturally rich destinations.

The development includes the ultra-luxury Raffles Ranthambore, a 63-villa retreat nestled within the famed Ranthambore National Park, and Sofitel Legend Sukh Bagh Jaipur, a 300+ key urban sanctuary in Jaipur’s Kukas Amer region. Raffles Ranthambore is expected to open by mid-2027, with Sofitel Legend Jaipur following in late 2028.

Set amidst the iconic landscape of Ranthambore National Park—home to royal Bengal tigers, serene lakes, and ancient ruins—Raffles Ranthambore will elevate the safari experience with signature offerings including butler service, the Long Bar, and an immersive design by IDEAS Architects and renowned designer Jeffrey Wilkes. The resort will feature 63 villas, including 15 luxury tents, family suites, and a bespoke honeymoon villa.

With 260 guest rooms and 41 suites, the hotel is designed to host everything from weddings and corporate events to cultural celebrations, supported by over 6,500 square meters of event space.

The new properties are part of Accor’s ambitious growth across India. Raffles Ranthambore will be the third Raffles destination in the country, following the successful launches in Udaipur and Jaipur. Upcoming additions to the Accor portfolio include Fairmont Udaipur (2025), Sofitel Jaipur Jawahar Circle (2028), and both Raffles and Fairmont properties in Goa (2030), building on a network of more than 70 hotels already operating across India.
