2012-11-16 — /travelprnews.com/ — The consortium “Zurich Airport”, led by Flughafen Zürich AG, has qualified for the definitive bidding round in the privatisation process of the Portuguese airport company ANA.
ANA operates ten airports in Portugal, amongst others Lisbon and Porto as well as smaller airports on Madeira or the Azores. A total of eight bidders placed non-binding offers in the first bidding round. Beside Flughafen Zürich AG, four other consortia were prequalified. The remaining bidders are asked to submit their final offer in December 2012.
