WHAT

Raise your glass to conservation and animals! Join Woodland Park Zoo for the after-hours, adults-only Brew at the Zoo beer-tasting event on Thursday, October 4. Head to the zoo’s Rain Forest Food Pavilion and Zoomazium to sample imports, domestics, microbrews and ciders from a host of breweries.

Additional tastings and concessions from Lancer Catering will be available for purchase at the event. The evening includes live bluegrass music by Boys of Greenwood Glen, animal encounters, raffle prizes and an opportunity to enjoy the zoo’s award-winning Jaguar Cove and Humboldt penguin exhibits. Proceeds from this event benefit the zoo’s operations, conservation initiatives locally and around the world, animal care and education programs.

Brew at the Zoo at Woodland Park Zoo is for adults 21 and over only—valid ID is required for entry.

Hold on to your Brew at the Zoo ticket after you attend the event! Visit the zoo and turn in a used Brew at the Zoo ticket to any admissions gate to receive $3 off zoo admission (one discount per ticket, cannot be combined with other discounts or offers). Valid through December 31, 2012.

WHEN

Thursday, October 4, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Jaguar Cove and Humboldt penguin exhibits open during the event from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

WHERE

Guests must enter and have IDs checked at the zoo’s West Entrance located at Phinney Ave. N. between N. 55th Street and N. 56th Street. Activities take place in the zoo’s Rain Forest Food Pavilion, Zoomazium and West Plaza.

COST

Tickets are $25 per adult (must be 21 and over) and available online only. No tickets will be sold on the day of the event. Tickets include six tastings, with additional tastings available for purchase ($1.00 per additional tasting). Event ticket does not include admission to the zoo prior to 5:30 p.m. Parking in zoo lots is $5.25 This is an after-hours fundraiser—regular zoo membership admission does not apply.
