Offer Available to Residents of British Columbia on February 9
WHISTLER, BC, 2015-2-6 — /Travel PR News/ — Whistler Blackcomb is once again offering a 50 per cent discount on lift tickets for BC families looking to celebrate Family Day in the mountains on February 9.
Visitors to Whistler Blackcomb, or locals wanting to try something new, can enjoy the wide variety of family certified activities the mountains have to offer, including dedicated learning centres, Whistler Kids Snow School programs, the School Yard and Enchanted Tree Fort on Whistler Mountain and the Terrain Garden and Magic Castle on Blackcomb Mountain.
“We’ve decided to bring back the Family Day celebration discount because of the feedback we had from last year,” says Stuart Rempel, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing. “Whistler Blackcomb heard from those who participated that it was a great family bonding weekend both on and off the slopes. We want to support families from across BC spending time together in the mountains and we hope this discount makes that easier.”
After calling it a day on the hill, Whistler Village is full of family friendly après spots and activities. Restaurants and bars like the Garibaldi Lift Co, Merlin’s and Dusty’s Bar & BBQ welcome kids until 10pm, the Olympic Plaza skating rink is open daily, as is the Coca Cola Tube Park, located at Base 2 on Blackcomb Mountain.
The 50 per cent off lift ticket discount will be available at all Whistler Blackcomb Ticket Window locations on February 9 and applies to one-day lift tickets only. Proof of residency is required and the discount is not valid for sightseeing tickets.
