Mauritius Resort prepares for Chinese New Year celebrations and a week of authentic cuisine with Chef Dennis Zhu.

Holding the secrets to some of the best-loved Chinese cuisine, Chef Dennis Zhu will lead the Resort’s chefs in a daily selection of Chinese delicacies for the period of February 9-15, 2013 to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Snake. Beginning with a Chinese breakfast buffet, Chef Dennis will also offer a daily specialty menu of his national cuisine at both lunch and dinner in the beachside restaurant Bambou. Some of Chef Dennis’ signature dishes include braised pork knuckle on a bed of spinach, Shanghai smoked fish, and organic vegetable and fruit salad with plum sauce.
The peak of the celebrations will be seen on Saturday, February 9, when Bambou restaurant will play host to a delicious selection of Chinese dishes and guests will be able to celebrate the eve of the Year of the Snake with a traditional Dragon Show, while being able to taste delicacies from the visiting Chinese chef.
A high energy professional, Chef Dennis has an extensive background in Chinese and Asian cuisine, with almost a decade in the kitchens of five star hotels before joining Four Seasons. On this visit to the Resort, he will showcase his flair and creativity across a variety of popular and authentic Chinese dishes.
