Vistara awarded the ‘Best Airline – India’ and ‘Best Regional Airline – Asia’ titles in TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice® Awards 2019

New Delhi, India, 2019-Apr-03 — /Travel PR News/ — Vistara, India’s finest full service carrier, has been awarded the titles ‘Best Airline – India’ and ‘Best Regional Airline – Asia’ in the third edition of TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice® Awards 2019 for Airlines. The accolades come to Vistara from the world’s largest travel site, TripAdvisor, for the second consecutive year.

TripAdvisor has awarded the world’s top carriers based on the quantity and quality of reviews and ratings for airlines by TripAdvisor flyers, gathered over a 12-month period.

TripAdvisor’s President – Flights, Cruise & Car, Mr. Bryan Saltzburg and Country Manager – India, Mr. Nikhil Ganju, presented the awards to Team Vistara, including Vistara’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. Leslie Thng, Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer, Mr. Sanjiv Kapoor, and representatives of the airline’s cabin crew and ground services staff that earn such laurels for Vistara.

As the highest-rated Indian airline on TripAdvisor, as well as having won several ‘Best Airline’ awards including from Skytrax, Vistara has consistently raised the bar for operations and service delivery in the Indian aviation industry in a short span of four years. The airline today serves 24 destinations with over 800 flights a week and a fleet of 22 aircraft and has flown over 14 million customers since starting operations in 2015.


Winners were based on airline reviews submitted on TripAdvisor Flights or via one of TripAdvisor’s review collection partners from January to December 2018
