Vacation exchange company RCI named one of Mexico’s Best Places to Work for

RCI® Recognized Again as One of the Best Places to Work in Mexico and as a Socially Responsible Company

Mexico, Federal District, 2013-06-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — RCI Mexico continues to demonstrate its commitment to serve its associates and the community

RCI Mexico received two important distinctions during the first half of 2013. The global leader in vacation exchange was named one of the Best Places to Work in Mexico for the seventh year in a row and  was also recognized by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Centro Mexicano Para la Filantropía, CEMEFI) as a Socially Responsible Company for the third consecutive year.

RCI has earned its position among these elite groups thanks to its continued and varied efforts to encourage employee participation and involvement, which help employees stay motivated while reinforcing their sense of belonging. The company is also committed to initiatives that promote community outreach and adherence to the highest possible corporate ethics.

At RCI, people are at the heart of its corporate philosophy, from its employees to its members and affiliate partners. This people-centric focus ensures that employees feel as though they are all members of the RCI family. To that end, a number of initiatives have been implemented that let employees know their work is valued, as well as other programs designed to help employees achieve a healthy work-life balance.

In 2013, RCI Mexico opened the “Wellness Room.” This unique space, equipped with massage chairs, aromatherapy and yoga mats, was created to provide employees with a retreat to escape the hustle and bustle of the work day for a few restorative minutes.

In addition, the company has implemented a number of different initiatives that allow employees to be in constant contact with the social and cultural environment, and promote an atmosphere of equity between men and women by eliminating discriminatory practices while reinforcing each of the core values that form the foundation of RCI’s corporate philosophy.

Furthermore, employees voluntarily take part in a number of committees focused on addressing specific issues such as education, health, housing, and ecology. These committees include: “RCI Apoyando,” which works on community-focused activities; “Great Team,” which focuses on addressing employees’ concerns and opinions; and “Green Initiative Team,” which focuses on caring for the environment.
