UNIQUE CHEF EXCHANGE PROGRAMME SPONSORED BY QATAR AIRWAYS BRINGS AUTHENTIC ARABIC AND POLISH FLAVOURS TO HYATT HOTELS IN DOHA AND WARSAW

2012-12-10 — /travelprnews.com/ — In a true meeting of cultures, the Grand Hyatt Doha, Qatar and Hyatt Regency Warsaw, Poland have embarked on a unique exchange to celebrate Qatar Airways’ route launch between Doha and the Polish capital Warsaw.

The two Hyatt properties, together with Qatar Airways, are organising a unique 10-day chef exchange programme to mark the recent launch of the airline’s new Polish service that will strengthen the relationship between the two cities and place Doha and Warsaw as accessible destinations for travellers from Qatar and Poland.

During the chef exchange promotion, each hotel will have a series of events taking place with opportunities for guests and diners to sample flavours from both destinations.

Qatar Airways has flown the talented Grand Hyatt Doha Arabic chef Wael Aboelela to Hyatt Regency Warsaw to showcase the very best of Arabic cuisine with a distinctly Qatari twist.

And, in exchange, Chef Witold Drobny from the Hyatt Regency Warsaw has flown to Doha to bring the exquisite tastes of Poland to the Grand Hyatt Doha’s Grill Restaurant from December 9th to 19th.

Witold Drobny plans to show off some of the classic Polish flavours while in Doha, with seafood and Polish bush spices being among his top ingredients while Wael will be showcasing his Arabian cooking talents and expertise at Hyatt Regency Warsaw from December 9th to 19th.

The objective of this international initiative is to share diverse professional culinary exchanges between Qatar and Poland and to allow Hyatt guests internationally to experience tastes of Warsaw and Doha.

Qatar Airways is operating non-stop scheduled flights four-times-a-week between Doha and Warsaw, the airline’s 32nd European destination.

Warsaw is one of Europe’s oldest cities – Poland’s largest city and economic, political and cultural centre. Rich in culture, home to historic palaces and modern architecture, many companies have turned their attention to setting up base in Warsaw due to the huge investment benefits offered by the Polish government.

Qatar Airways Vice President Commercial Qatar Ehab Amin said: “This fantastic promotion demonstrates a combination of the best cuisine from Qatar and Poland as Qatar Airways entered its newest destination in Europe with the launch of flights to the city of Warsaw. We look forward to flying passengers on our newest route and continue a great working relationship with Hyatt.”

“We are delighted to organize this programme in coordination with Qatar Airways and to present the culinary talents of Hyatt Hotels’ chefs worldwide, in which Chef Wael and Chef Witold Drobny will have the opportunity to prepare, present and showcase their Arabian and Polish inspired dishes,” said Garry Friend, General Manager of Grand Hyatt Doha.
