Two new non-traditional event spaces at Four Seasons Hotel New York open for business

2013-08-20 — /travelprnews.com/ — Two new non-traditional event spaces in Four Seasons Hotel New York are now available for receptions, private dinners, weddings,  and lunch and breakfast meetings.

Fifty-Eight (the former L’Atelier space) accommodates up to 40 guests for a seated dinner and a maximum of 70 guests for a reception. The space designed by Pierre Yves Rochon is scarlet in colour with windows overlooking 58th Street and features a contemporary wooden counter that can be used as a bar or buffet. Its style and decor feels like one is dining in a restaurant-like atmosphere. The Fifty-Eight Room is available days and evenings.

In addition, the Fifty-Eight space can be booked along with The Bar for breakfasts and lunches with up to 100 people. The combined space allows event planners to be more creative with their set-ups as it offers natural light, uninhibited space and a residential feel.

For those that are looking for outdoor space indoors, The Garden restaurant is now available for private events and weddings during the evenings. Its unique urban spot is transformed into a magical outdoor forest at night inside the Hotel’s expansive 33-foot (10 metre) high lobby, showcasing an alternative to the Hotel’s other event spaces. The Garden’s private events can be accommodated seven days a week for 50-120 people, from formal dinners and wedding receptions to more casual parties. Evening events can be booked starting at 5:00 pm.

“We are excited to offer our guests enchanting, non-traditional catering spaces as our goal is to create unique, one-of-a-kind events for our clients,” says Christoph Schmidinger, regional vice president and general manager of Four Seasons Hotel New York.

An on-site planner will work with guests to create the perfect event while coordinating all of the food, beverage and design details.
