The Gender Equity Council of the Parliament of Georgia honors Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel Tbilisi with special recognition for supporting women in leadership

BRUSSELS, 2015-7-10 — /Travel PR News/ — The Gender Equity Council of the Parliament of Georgia, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), announced Gender Equality Awards 2015 for business companies, Government Agencies and local government bodies.

Government officials were interested in how Rezidor pushed women in leadership, therefore we were asked to show the officials what we do with regards to this. Mr. Losasso gave a short presentation about the women’s role at our hotel, while some of our staff members gave interviews to the representatives of the council. Then, we were asked to submit the application form that proved our wish to participate in the contest. That happened in April 2015.

On July 6, 2015 Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel received a special recognition for supporting women in leadership at a gala event. The award itself was granted by the president of Georgia. It seems that the officials were delighted that we are so much focused in promoting gender equity and women in leadership.
