The recognition comes amid a highly competitive field of more than 300 entries, underlining the growing visibility of the Group’s sustainability efforts on a national stage.

The dual nominations reflect the Group’s continued focus on integrating environmental responsibility into its strategic direction and operational practices. The announcement follows a period of significant progress in sustainability performance, including Shannon Airport’s attainment of Level 3 Airport Carbon Accreditation. It also builds on previous accolades, such as last year’s success at the Chambers Ireland Awards in the Biodiversity and Environment category, alongside further nominations in 2025 for Outstanding Achievement in Sustainable Business Impact and Biodiversity Project of the Year at Ireland’s Climate Change Leadership Awards.

She highlighted that the progress made over the past 12 months has been driven by collaboration across teams and expressed appreciation for the ongoing efforts of colleagues.
