Handmade bracelets help Airport share excitement for weekend concerts
San José, Calif., 2023-Jul-29 — /Travel PR News/ — “Swifties” arriving Thursday afternoon at San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) will have an opportunity to trade friendship bracelets with the Airport ahead of the Taylor Swift Eras Tour performances, scheduled at nearby Levi’s Stadium this weekend. A group of Airport staff handmade SJC-branded friendship bracelets in anticipation of Swift’s fans arriving for her performances this Friday and Saturday.
Trading will begin at 4 p.m. at a table hosted by the Airport in the Terminal B Baggage Claim area, as part of the Airport’s Marketing and Customer Experience efforts. Airport Director, John Aitken says it’s a good way to create a more memorable travel experience for travelers.
Aitken said, “Our team does a wonderful job curating an inviting experience for the range of audiences who choose SJC. Customer Experience is an area of our industry that we take very seriously. Supporting efforts like this is a way to encourage my team to be creative and responsive to what’s important to them and our passengers.”
The Airport’s popular social media pages follow the pop star and welcomes the opportunity to engage its followers in the local fanfare, which has included the next-door City of Santa Clara re-naming itself “Swiftie Clara” during the two show dates, July 28 and July 29. Swift’s impact on locales hosting her concerts is being described as “The Taylor Swift Effect.”
Supplies are limited; trading is available while supplies last.
