Rocco Forte Hotels unveils in‑suite Musical Room Service marrying private concerts with signature dining across its European landmarks

(IN SHORT) Rocco Forte Hotels has introduced the Musical Room Service, an in-suite dining and live performance experience available in Signature Suites across its city hotels. The program teams each property with local cultural institutions—opera houses, theatres, universities and renowned musicians—to deliver bespoke concerts ranging from operatic arias and Scottish bagpipes to jazz trios and classical quartets. Highlights include piping lessons at The Balmoral in Edinburgh, jazz by Druss Lecomte at Hotel Amigo in Brussels, young opera talents from the Berlin State Opera at Hotel de Rome, and Sicilian serenades curated by Teatro Massimo at Villa Igiea in Palermo. In Rome, Hotel de Russie and Hotel de la Ville offer opera, operetta and jazz set against panoramic terraces. Florence’s Hotel Savoy features tenor Gonzalo Godoy Sepulveda, while Munich’s The Charles Hotel showcases students from the University of Music & Theatre. Packages start at €2,000, require advance booking and are subject to availability. Established in 1996 by Sir Rocco Forte and Lady Olga Polizzi, the brand now totals 15 properties, with new openings slated in Milan (2025), Sardinia and Noto (2026) and Naples (2027).

(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 2025-Jul-23 — /Travel PR News/ — Rocco Forte Hotels is striking a new chord with the debut of its Musical Room Service, a concept that lets guests pair fine cuisine with a live, private performance inside the sanctuary of a Signature Suite. Across the group’s landmark city properties, partnerships with theatres, opera houses and standout musicians mean guests can now “order” a concert just as easily as they request dinner from the hotel’s restaurant.

Whether the mood calls for an acclaimed soprano, a soulful jazz trio or emerging virtuosos from prestigious conservatories, each hotel has assembled its own roster to transform breakfast, lunch or dinner into an unforgettable show. From vocalists and string quartets to pianists, wind players and full ensembles, the offerings have been curated to dazzle—perfect as a surprise for a partner, a treat for a devoted fan or simply an elevated accompaniment to a memorable meal.

In Brussels, friends can convene in Hotel Amigo’s Blaton Suite for a punchy night of rhythm and blues. With cocktails in hand and courses served in-suite, Belgian musician Druss Lecomte sets an intimate or upbeat tone, solo or with a trio. Over in Rome, the terrace of Hotel de Russie’s Picasso Suite creates a dreamy backdrop for two: a soprano’s serenade intertwined with a guitarist’s chords while Fulvio Pierangelini’s celebrated dishes arrive course after course.

The Balmoral in Edinburgh leans into Scottish soul. Guests of the Glamis Suite partner with Reel Time, the country’s premier entertainment outfit, for a bespoke piping lesson wrapped around a dinner of classic Scottish flavours—followed by a hands-on masterclass with the pipes themselves. Florence’s Hotel Savoy looks to the rooftops: from the Presidential Suite, guests are treated to young tenor Gonzalo Godoy Sepulveda’s operatic repertoire, a journey that began in the hotel’s own restaurant and now crescendos in private performances accompanied by varied ensembles.

Bagpipes blaze in Scotland, while in Berlin the Berlin State Opera’s International Opera Studio crosses the street to Hotel de Rome to deliver a surprise aria right in the suite—many of which gaze directly at the opera house, including the sumptuous Royal Bebel Suite. Dinner from CHIARO, designed by Fulvio Pierangelini, rounds out the sensory experience. In Munich, The Charles Hotel turns its Monforte Royal Suite into a petite concert hall, inviting rising stars from the University of Music & Theatre to tailor live sets—piano, percussion and more—to a guest’s personal playlist.

Rome’s other grande dame, Hotel de la Ville, positions its terraces high above the Eternal City. Here, the “musical concierge” can line up anything from a violinist’s classical interludes to the smooth timbre of a saxophonist—an ideal sunset serenade. Meanwhile, overlooking the Roman skyline from Hotel de la Ville, guests’ preferences are handpicked across the breadth of Roman musical traditions. And in Palermo, Villa Igiea taps Teatro Massimo to revive Sicily’s ancient Serenade custom: choose a trio or the illustrious Antiche Serenate Notturne ensemble to perform poetic love songs with the Bay of Palermo as the shimmering set.

Hotel de Russie’s private performances focus on opera and operetta gems, delivered by a singer with guitar or accordion accompaniment. Views sweep over Piazza del Popolo, the rooftops of Via Margutta or the hotel’s lush garden, while the vocalist’s spellbinding timbre captivates the room.
