2012-10-5 — /travelprnews.com/ — The October 17, 18, and 19, 2012, meeting of the Outdoor Recreation Grants Advisory Committee will be held in Little Rock and in Jacksonville, Arkansas. The Committee will meet at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, in the Parks and Tourism Conference Room of the Multi Agency Complex, Number One Capitol Mall, Little Rock, Arkansas. This meeting will allow the Outdoor Recreation Grants Program staff to assist the Committee with the review of the Fiscal Year 2012 FUN Park and 50/50 Matching Grant Applications for city and county park development.
The Committee will then meet at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012, in meeting rooms A and B of the Jacksonville Community Center, located at Number 5 Municipal Drive, Jacksonville, Arkansas for invited 50/50 Matching Grant Applicants and on October 19, 2012, at 9:00 a.m. for invited FUN Park Grant Applicants. The Committee has scheduled time for each applicant to describe their grant request and answer questions the Committee might have to assist them with the grant award recommendations.
