BRUSSELS, 2016-Sep-02 — /Travel PR News/ — Radisson Blu®, the iconic hotel brand driven by innovation and design, unveils its Paper City, a creative new competition to attract leisure travelers. Contestants are required to identify five global Radisson Blu destinations on the paper city for a chance to win a trip including airfare for two and 30 nights at any five Radisson Blu hotels globally.
Paper City was developed by Barcelona based Lobulo Design, a creative agency that specializes in making designs and illustrations with paper. It was constructed by six artists who took more than 750 hours to create the model, which is made from more than 20,000 paper cuts. The city was photographed, filmed and transformed into a 3-D game environment that invites users to identify five real cities with the help of clues. “Paper City was inspired by the brand’s passion for design and innovation, while showcasing its global presence,” said Rose Anderson, vice president, branding Radisson Blu. “Paper City allows contestants the opportunity to explore some of the iconic hotel locations in our portfolio. It also encourages guests to interact with some the assets associated with both the Radisson Blu brand and the selected destinations, including art, architecture, food and drink, technology and wellness.”
Once a contestant identifies the five hidden destinations within the Paper City, they are invited to describe their dream destination for a chance to win a trip to five global Radisson Blu destinations. Users can also discover their own inner architect by downloading five paper-craft templates.
