New Flight from JFK to Palm Springs via Virgin America

Palm Springs, Calif. – 2012-09-27 — /travelprnews.com/ — Just in time for the upcoming holiday season, Virgin America has announced its 2012-2013 seasonal flight schedule which includes a new weekly nonstop flight from JFK to PSP starting December 22, 2012  – the first nonstop flight offered from the New York City area to Palm Springs, California.

The new nonstop flight will add to Virgin America’s existing seasonal daily nonstop flights from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to PSP and connecting flights from JFK to PSP beginning October 22.

With an average temperature of 75 degrees during the winter months, Palm Springs is known for its storied Hollywood legacy, Native American heritage and extensive collection of mid-century modern architecture.
