DOHA, Qatar, 2022-Jan-08 — /Travel PR News/ — Qatar Duty Free (QDF) kicks off 2022 with the worldwide travel retail exclusive launch of Moncler’s first-ever own line of fragrances. Moncler Pour Femme and Moncler Pour Homme will be exclusively available at QDF during the month of January before being launched in the Middle East and worldwide.
Travellers are invited to discover Moncler’s signature selections of fragrances – all of which with exciting interactive features on their bottles – at stunning pop-ups located at QDF’s two core perfume and cosmetics stores within the award-winning Hamad International Airport (HIA) South Retail Plaza.
The two perfumes, Moncler Pour Femme and Moncler Pour Homme, which “signal a veritable expedition for the senses,” are the latest in a long line of inspirational creations from the house of Moncler and a natural extension of a 360° lifestyle brand celebrated worldwide. Intertwined in their chemistry and narrative, both creations reflect a bold synergy of nature, exploration and discovery – the cornerstones of the Moncler universe, a global brand synonymous with mountain heritage and a new concept of luxury. In a harmony of contrasts, each scent evokes a crisp and cool ode to the great outdoors, wrapped in an opulent cocoon of warmth.
With their revolutionary LED screen, the ‘borraccia’ flask-shaped bottles forge an inextricable link with the House’s mountain roots and adventurous spirit. Customers can personalise the illuminated message panels on both bottles using a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone app, allowing them to add special messages and create the ideal gift for themselves or loved ones.
Vice President Qatar Duty Free, Mr Thabet Musleh, said: “We are delighted to be the first travel retailer in the world to launch Moncler’s debut fragrances, marking a fitting start to an exciting year ahead. Aside from their distinct and exclusive scent accords, both perfumes are packaged in eye-catching bottles, a unique component which undoubtedly stands out.”
“We are committed to providing an unrivalled retail and dining offering for all our passengers travelling through HIA – the Best Airport in the World – and introducing our customers to a memorable shopping experience. We continue to grow and expand, and we look forward to further enhancing our retail portfolio with many more unique offerings.”
Interparfums CEO, Mr Philippe Bénacin, commented: “After several years of discussion, research and development, these two fragrances have come to life in a way that truly captures the essence of Moncler. As the chairman and CEO of Moncler, Remo Ruffini has accompanied us throughout the process, closely following the global concept as well as the finer details. Moncler as a brand has such a covetable status – it’s a brand that really embodies innovation, which is why these perfumes feel like the perfect continuation of its story. With these two fragrances, even the bottle itself is a new adventure, a new spirit, and a new way of communicating – whether it is to write your name, a special message, or anything you like.”
Moncler Pour Femme is the work of perfumers Nisrine Grillié and Quentin Bisch. A floral woody musky fragrance, containing a pair of custom accords designed exclusively for Moncler, opens with the crisp and bright sensation of the Powdery Snow accord, reminiscent of the evanescent beauty of freshly fallen snow.
Moncler Pour Homme is a woody aromatic fragrance created by perfumers Antoine Maisondieu and Christophe Raynaud. Capturing the vibrant natural beauty of an alpine forest, this enveloping fragrance contains an unprecedented saturation of woody notes, starting with the exclusive Alpine Green accord.
In 2021, QDF celebrated its 21st anniversary by unveiling a significant investment as well as an expanded retail portfolio of shopping and dining options. The existing award-winning duty free experience at HIA was further elevated with a larger footprint, an impressive selection of products, and global brands, transforming into a premier global destination for international air travellers.
