LINGER FOR LONGER, VILLA NAI 3.3 EXTENDS ITS SEASON UNTIL THE 31ST OF OCTOBER – BASK UNDER THE CROATIAN SUN ON THE STUNNING CROATIAN ISLAND OF DUGI OTOK

DUGI OTOK, Croatia, 2021-Sep-01 — /Travel PR News/ — Born in nature and made in nature, Villa Nai 3.3, a member of Leading Hotels of the World and the hottest new opening of Summer 2021, situated on the island of Dugi Otok is extending its opening until the 31st of October to celebrate the olive harvest and for guests to enjoy a belated summer holiday with balmy temperatures of up to 25°C. Villa Nai 3.3 is surrounded by 500-year-old olive groves, which produce the globally renowned multi-award-winning olive oil Nai, 3.3. With just eight luxuriously designed rooms and suites rooms designed by Nikola Bašić – a Croatian escape has never been so appealing.

Villa Nai 3.3, Croatia’s newest ultra-luxury hotel is set amongst the breathtakingly beautiful Kornati National Park, northwest of the Kornati archipelago overlooking the crystal-clear, glistening waters of the Adriatic Sea.

Celebrating the olive harvest, Villa Nai 3.3 is offering guests a 60-minute guided tour of the olive groves, where they can learn the fascinating history of Croatia’s organic olive growing from one of Villa Nai 3.3’s pioneers. At the end of September and throughout early October, guests can immerse themselves in a hands-on, tour of an olive production facility. For the olive oil to be called ‘Extra Virgin’ time is of the essence from the olives being harvested to being washed and pressed and guests can see this fascinating process first-hand. Once pressed, the very first drops of the liquid gold are extracted and the pure, unfiltered olive oil is then poured into dark glass bottles to prevent exposure to UV light, which can damage the precious contents. This is followed by a delicious communal lunch in the restaurant. For the perfect end to the perfect olive-themed day, there will be a young olive oil tasting.

Olive oil is essential in the preparation and cooking of dishes and both the 3.3 and Grotta 11,000 use only the finest locally sourced, meat, poultry, fruits, and vegetables and expertly season and flavour the dishes using their liquid gold, the multi-award-winning, Nai 3.3. The sommelier can expertly pair wines from the extensive wine list which includes over 203 local, fine, and vintage wines.

With a vibrant history of olive oil production and surrounded by seemingly endless olive groves and vineyards, the autumn months are the perfect time to learn about various wines, and olive oil beneath the warm, Croatian sun. Villa Nai 3.3 owes its olive oil success to the beautiful climate, but it relies on a centuries-old secret ingredient – 3.3 snow days per year.

For those with an interest in history, guided excursions are available for visitors to explore the history of the UNESCO-protected dry stone walling tradition, five kilometres of which terrace the Villa Nai property. After a day of exploring the local history, and tasting the multi-award-winning liquid gold, you can completely relax at Villa Nai 3.3’s rejuvenating spa or in one of their two seawater pools.

There is no better way to spend an autumn holiday than connecting with Croatia’s olive harvest in a luxurious setting against a pristine backdrop.
