Kempinski The Spa at Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga named Latvia’s Best Hotel Spa 2018 by World Spa Awards

Riga, Latvia, 2018-Oct-31 — /Travel PR News/ — Kempinski The Spa at Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga, Latvia’s first five-star luxury Kempinski Hotel is delighted to announce the award by prestigious World Spa Awards as Latvia’s Best Hotel Spa 2018, for the first time.

The World Spa Awards is a dynamic awards programme, launched in 2015, designed to drive standards within the spa and wellness travel industry by recognising, rewarding and celebrating excellence in spa and wellness tourism. World Spa Awards is the sister event to the World Travel Awards.

Kempinski The Spa was recognised as Latvia’s Best Hotel Spa 2018 by voters from around the world at the 4th annual World Spa Awards Gala Ceremony.

“Having only recently celebrated our first-year anniversary and going head to head with some well-established names in the city, it is a great honour to be awarded as Latvia’s Best Hotel Spa 2018. The award is a credit to our team of professionals who are committed to ensuring that each and every detail of the guest experience is as special as the facility itself,” said Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga’s general manager, Leon Baum.

World Spa Awards was developed in reaction to overwhelming demand from the spa industry for a programme that was fair and transparent. A programme with a mission to serve as the definitive benchmark of excellence, and to help to foster a new era of growth in spa tourism.
