IHG announces Crowne Plaza® in Serbia’s second largest city Novi Sad

LONDON, 2015-12-4 — /Travel PR News/ — InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), one of the world’s leading hotel companies, has announced the signing of Crowne Plaza® Novi Sad in Serbia’s second largest city. The newly built hotel will operate under a franchise agreement with Plaza AGNS DOO Novi Sad.

The 144-room hotel opening in 2016 will be located in the heart of the business district of Novi Sad, and only a short walk to the city centre for guests wanting to explore the city’s renowned 18th century architecture, visit the fortress of Petrovaradin, the plethora of beautiful churches or take a tour of the nearby vineyards and gastronomy sites. The new development, along with Crowne Plaza® Belgrade, aligns with IHG’s strategy to grow the brand in emerging business epicentres to truly make business travel work.

Crowne Plaza Novi Sad will feature a range of business and meeting facilities including five meeting rooms and two boardrooms. Guests will also be able to enjoy the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant and unwind at the sky bar which promises panoramic views of the city. Crowne Plaza Novi Sad will also feature a signature rooftop club lounge, spa and fitness centre with world class facilities – the perfect place to unwind during a business trip or weekend getaway.
