At the ceremony, held in Hobart last Wednesday night, Hilton Sydney was awarded “Best Restaurant – Accommodation Division,” “Chef of the Year – Joe Pavlovich (glass brasserie),” “Best Meetings and Events Venue” and “Overall Hotel of the Year – Accommodation Division.”

Australian Hotels Association national awards for excellence are the nation’s premier hospitality awards, honoring the achievement of excellence in a wide range of 40 categories in the accommodation industry. The awards recognize state winners from the tourism and accommodation divisions from around Australia.
The Tourism Accommodation Australia (NSW) Awards for Excellence honors the achievement of excellence in a wide range of 31 categories in the accommodation industry. Hilton Sydney was successful in winning eight awards including “F&B function hotel of the year,” “Conference hotel of the Year,” “Restaurant of the Year,” “Outstanding Achievement in Training,” “Chef of the Year,” “Revenue Manager of the Year,” “Finance Officer of the Year” and “Employee Excellence in Service.”
