This development supports Hilton’s long-term goal of operating more than 40 properties across the country in the coming years, creating over 5,000 job opportunities.

The newly signed properties introduce Hilton’s lifestyle brands, Curio Collection by Hilton and Tapestry Collection by Hilton, to Egypt for the first time. They also include an all-inclusive resort and the highly anticipated Hilton Cairo Nile Maadi, which is set to open in early 2025. This flagship property, located in the upscale Maadi district, will feature modern accommodations with panoramic views of the Nile River and the Pyramids.

Key Projects in Cairo

  • Hilton Cairo Historic City: Opening in 2027 in partnership with City Edge Developments, this property will be situated at a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Old Cairo, offering 255 guest rooms and suites, exceptional dining options, and extensive meeting facilities.
  • DoubleTree by Hilton Cairo Downtown: Set to open in 2028, this hotel will feature 257 guest rooms and a range of wellness and dining amenities.
  • Hilton Cairo Suez Road: Strategically located near commercial districts and Cairo International Airport, this 350-room hotel will cater to business and leisure travelers with dining venues, meeting spaces, and wellness facilities.
  • Hilton Garden Inn New Cairo Palm East: Developed in partnership with Tahoon Group for Real Estate Investment, this hotel will include 126 rooms, rooftop dining, and a pool.

Expanding Resort Destinations

Hilton is also broadening its footprint in Egypt’s coastal regions:

  • Curio Collection by Hilton, Sharm El Sheikh: Opening in 2027, this Red Sea property will feature 165 rooms, five dining venues, and outdoor pools.
  • Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Abu Dabbab Lodge: Scheduled for 2025, this eco-friendly resort in Marsa Alam will offer 92 rooms, dining options, and a diving center.
  • Hilton Marsa Alam Marina – An All-Inclusive Resort: With 750 rooms and extensive leisure facilities, this resort will be a flagship addition to Hilton’s global all-inclusive portfolio.
  • DoubleTree by Hilton Alamein Marina Valley: Opening in 2027 on Egypt’s North Coast, this property will include 182 rooms, a fitness center, and event spaces.
