Four Seasons Hotels Limited and Hotel Corporation of Uruguay S.A announced Four Seasons will no longer manage Four Seasons Resort Carmelo

Change to take effect March 31, 2015

TORONTO, Canada, 2015-2-9 — /Travel PR News/ — Four Seasons Hotels Limited (Four Seasons) and Hotel Corporation of Uruguay S.A. (HCU), the Owner ofFour Seasons Resort Carmelo, announced today that Four Seasons will conclude its management ofFour Seasons Resort Carmelo effective March 31, 2015.

Four Seasons and HCU mutually agreed that the time was right to transition the Resort to new management. HCU has advised Four Seasons that the hotel will continue to be operated as a luxury resort. The new brand is expected to be announced by the Owner in early March.

Four Seasons has managed the Resort since December 2001. In that time the Resort has been consistently included in Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List and was most recently voted by TripAdvisor users as one of the Top 10 Luxury Hotels in Uruguay. HCU is committed to continued investment, maintaining these high service standards, and to preserving the Resort’s reputation as one of the top luxury resorts in the region.

Four Seasons and HCU are working together to ensure a smooth transition. Guests wishing to make reservations for Four Seasons Resort Carmelo should continue to contact Four Seasons until March 31, 2015.
