Terry Fox remains a global hero for his brave and selfless approach to raising awareness and funds for cancer research, inspiring Terry Fox Runs all around the world. Terry Fox remains a home town hero for British Columbians, and his legacy is a catalyst to get out there and proudly run, walk or shuffle – rain or shine – in his honour to continue his fundraising efforts.
Interested runners and fundraisers are invited to join the team on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Stanley Park where Four SeasonsHotel Vancouver employees will be registering runners, serving breakfast , and running the Kids Playzone. Last year, participants raised CAD 80,000.00 for the Terry Fox Foundation.
Global News anchor Jill Krop is returning this year as master of ceremonies. Participants will also enjoy a Vancouver Fire Department warm up, complimentary post run continental breakfast, run day prizes, Kid’s Playzone and more.

The Marathon of Hope Continues
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has a strong commitment to advancing of cancer research, and much of the company’s devotion to this important cause stems from Terry Fox’s 1980 Marathon of Hope. Terry inspired Canadians to action before succumbing to the disease the following year.
