Festively Windsor – Christmas With All The Trimmings At Melbourne’s Most Cherished Hotel

The Christmas degustation menu will be served in 111 Spring Street Restaurant and the Grand Ballroom. It will include delicacies such as confit salmon with salmon roe, crayfish medallions with asparagus and champagne sauce, Christmas turkey with chestnut puree and all the trimmings and the hotel’s traditional Christmas plum pudding with brandy sauce.

Wine and non-alcoholic drinks are included in the price of $275 for adults and $125 for children under the age of 12. Santa will make a special appearance during the lunch and, of course, there will be colourful and elegant Christmas decorations throughout the hotel. A lavish Christmas buffet, also priced at $275, will be served in the Bourke Room.

Special Christmas gift ideas and treats for the home Christmas table are a feature this year. Elegantly boxed gift hampers will be available, starting from $95 up to $275 for the Windsor Grand Christmas Hamper which features a bottle of champagne, plum pudding a chocolate Santa and a gift card for a three-course dinner for two at 111 Spring Street Restaurant. Children’s hampers are also available and are priced between $25 and $50, with some including theWindsor’s signature teddy bear.

The hotel’s popular and beautifully presented gift vouchers also make a perfect present for a special someone. The vouchers can be redeemed for afternoon tea or dining at 111 Spring Street.

The Christmas hampers will be on sale from the Hotel Windsor from Saturday, November 24. Also available from that date will be a range of gourmet items, perfect for the Christmas table or as gifts. Items include gingerbread, chocolates, mince pies, plum puddings and the hotel’s own range of teas and jams.

Finally, in celebration of the festive season the Southern Voices Youth Choir will be singing carols at the hotel on Sunday December 2, Saturday, December 8, Saturday December 15, and Sunday December 23 between 11.45 am and 12.15 pm and 1.45 and 2.45 pm.
