Cielo Restaurant & Bar at Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis to host culinary competition featuring six of St. Louis’ finest sous chefs on May 18, 2015

St. Louis, 2015-4-13 — /Travel PR News/ — Six of St. Louis’ finest sous chefs will square off in the Duck, Duck Goose – Unsung Hero Sous Chefs of St. Louis stand-up dinner reception and culinary competition hosted by Cielo Restaurant & Bar at Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis. The evening will begin at 6:00 pm on May 18, 2015 and will feature locally grown ingredients, premium duck and foie gras from Hudson Valley Duck.

“We are thrilled to partner with Hudson Valley to offer diners some of the finest duck and foie gras in the country,” says Cielo Restaurant Chef Shimon Diamond. Participating sous chefs include Shimon Diamond (Cielo Restaurant & Bar, Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis), Justin McMillen (Sidney Street Cafe), Ryan McDonald (Truffles), Josh Poletti (The Libertine), Alex Feldmeier (Brasserie by Niche), butcher Andrew Janerick (Annie Gunn’s) and Saul Juarez (Cielo Restaurant & Bar, Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis).

Each chef will feature one canape and one main dish, indulging guests with a total of eleven taste sensations paired with Goose Island beer. Cielo Bar mixologist Jorie Taylor will also offer duck-inspired cocktails.

Cost is USD 78 a person plus tax. Tiickets may be purchased through eventbrite.
