Cathay Pacific’s Business Class named “Best Airline Business Class” at 2013 Business Traveller China Awards

Hong Kong, 2013-11-18 — /travelprnews.com/ — Cathay Pacific Airways’ efforts to provide world-beating inflight products coupled with superior service were acknowledged when the airline took the “Best Airline Business Class” honour at the 2013 Business Traveller China Awards. The awards ceremony took place in Beijing on Friday, 15 November.

The honour comes on top of a number of other awards received by the airline in recent months, including the “World’s Best Cabin Staff” and “Best Transpacific Airline” accolades in the World Airline Awards run by Skytrax, and the “Best North Asian Airline” honour at the 24th Annual TTG Travel Awards.

Since 2005 the Business Traveller China Awards have been demonstrating readers’ satisfaction with airline and hospitality providers.

Cathay Pacific’s General Manager China Dane Cheng, who accepted the award on behalf of the airline, said: “Sincere thanks go to all the readers of Business Traveller China who voted for us this year. At Cathay Pacific we know that great service makes travel rewarding and fun and gives travellers more reasons to keep flying with us. We have invested heavily in services and products, including our world-beating long-haul Business Class seat, to ensure our passengers can always enjoy the best flying experience.”

As part of its ongoing product developments, Cathay Pacific is currently fitting its short-haul aircraft with a new Regional Business Class seat. The rollout of this new product will be completed by the end of 2014. The airline also recently opened The Bridge, its latest lounge at Hong Kong International Airport, taking the standard of its premium ground products and services to a new level.
