Costa Mesa, CA, 2015-8-20 — /Travel PR News/ — Burba Hotel Network (BHN), hosts of the upcoming Hotel Investment Conference Europe (Hot.E) 2015, are pleased to announce that this year’s program will feature two special sessions focusing on Montenegro. Hot.E will be held in London on 28-29 September 2015, at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower.
A unique pre-conference session on Montenegro will bring together the Government of Montenegro and industry experts to learn about this dynamic lifestyle destination. Panelists will include: Oliver Corlette, Managing Director, Porto Montenegro; Angel Rodriguez, Executive Development Director, Portonovi; and Samih Onsi Sawiris, Chairman & CEO, Orascom Development. The session will be moderated by Miroslav Dragicevic, Senior Partner/Director, Horwath HTL Croatia. These panelists are considered “early birds” to the idea of converting Montenegro’s Adriatic coast into a world class place to visit and reside within the Mediterranean.
Dragicevic stated, “We are delighted that Montenegro will be getting some of the recognition it deserves at this year’s conference. For some years now, Montenegro has been attracting the kind of sophisticated traveler who previously would have gone to the south of France or Italy. Through some incredible developments, which we discuss in depth in my panel, the whole region is beginning to get the attention of the rest of the world. Significantly, these projects are combining local financing and expertise with some of the biggest names in international development and operation. The results are truly spectacular and will bring fresh impetus to tourism projects across the whole region. We are honored to be able to highlight the best of Montenegro at this year’s London conference.”
Branimir Gvozdenović, Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism for the Government of Montenegro, will additionally highlight the investment opportunities available in the Hidden Pearl of the Mediterranean at Hot.E’s opening plenary session. During this session Gvozdenović will focus on some of the investment and development opportunities that are available in Montenegro.
“We are delighted to be shining a spotlight on the incredible opportunities in Montenegro at Hot.E,” said Jim Burba, president of BHN and host of Hot.E. “These special sessions will include an update on several new projects that represent nearly two billion Euro’s in investment, an impressive number for any sized country, and especially impressive for a country the size of Montenegro. In 2001, we had the privilege of working with the government of Montenegro to create a hotel investment conference to introduce the country to the global hotel investment community. It was a very different time, and a lot needed to be done for Montenegro to effectively compete with other already established destinations. The progress made since that conference has been truly amazing, and we’re proud to have played a role in the development of this beautiful destination,” Burba added.
