BodyHoliday St. Lucia welcomes international guests again, with 60% of team members vaccinated to date – offering a safe, personalised wellness experience

Saint Lucia, 2021-May-17 — /Travel PR News/ — BodyHoliday St. Lucia, consistently rated among the top spa resorts worldwide, is delighted to welcome international guests again from 13th May.

Prioritising safety for both team members and guests, Sunswept Resorts (BodyHoliday and sister property Rendezvous) hosted a health fair and vaccination drive in April in conjunction with the Ministry of Health. 60% of the team are now vaccinated and anyone not vaccinated always carries a negative antigen test to show no infection. Further health tests were also offered to the team at the event, including blood sugar checks and glucose screenings.

“At BodyHoliday we hold the wellbeing of both our team members and guests of the utmost importance and are delighted to be able to reassure with confidence that BodyHoliday is a safe, protected environment to undertake a journey of wellness. Our recent health and vaccination drive has supported the education and administration of the AstraZeneca vaccination within our team and we are pleased that we can offer this continued message to guests, partners and associates alike. We know how difficult it is right now for people to decide to travel and to be able to offer this reassurance we hope will inspire tourism to once again return to the unparalleled wellness experienced at BodyHoliday.” Rebecca Platt, Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing, SunSwept Resorts

This past year has taught a variety of valuable lessons, the most important being that our health and wellbeing will always come before anything else. BodyHoliday has developed four new programmes to address the fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic; be it anxiety and stress from lockdown, relationship issues, work fatigue or physical effects of the virus, the experts at the Wellness Centre will kickstart guests’ journeys to optimising their lives during this challenging time.

The resort has undertaken extensive measures for sanitisation, social distancing and other virus-related policies, to ensure the safety of guests and staff in line with St. Lucia’s thorough regulations. Any visitors to the destination are only permitted to stay in Covid-19 Certified accommodation, as part of the strategy to minimise the effects of the global health crisis.

BodyHoliday was voted amongst the top ten spa resorts worldwide in the prestigious Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2020 and has been nominated yet again for the 2021 awards, with voting now open.
