Krabi, Thailand, 2019-Apr-02 — /Travel PR News/ — Recently, Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited led by Mr. Tortrakul Smakul, Regional Director – Sales (Center) brought a group of media and travel agents from Chiang Mai to travel on its inaugural flight Chiang Mai – Krabi. Everyone was warmly greeted by Airport authorities at Krabi International Airport.
Chiang Mai – Krabi service is considered as one of Bangkok Airways strategic movements in terms of network expansion by using Chiang Mai as a flying hub. Moreover, having a link between Chiang Mai and this beautiful beach destination will make it easier for tourists to connect their journey to Krabi without transiting in Bangkok. In addition to that, it also helps promote cross-region tourism.
Chiang Mai – Krabi (One-way) service will begin with a three-flight-per-week operation (Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday) during 31 March – 29 April and will be adjusted to a daily flight from 30 April 2019 onwards. The airline will use a 144-seater Airbus A319 aircraft to service this route. The outbound flight PG246 will depart Chiang Mai International Airport at 12.00hrs and arrive Krabi International Airport at 13.55hrs.
