Sir Henry van der Heyden, Auckland Airport’s Chair, says, “The Board is delighted to approve Management’s recommendation to appoint Scott Weenink as Company Secretary, and directors look forward to working with Scott on the governance of the Company.”
Scott Weenink’s career to date has included a number of high-level managerial, directorship and corporate governance roles. Most recently based in Singapore, he was the Executive Director and General Counsel of Ooredoo Asia, a multinational telecommunications and technology company serving 15 countries. Prior to that, Scott worked for the international law firm Norton Rose in London and Singapore, the New Zealand law firm Bell Gully, and Telecom New Zealand.
Scott Weenink has also been appointed Auckland Airport’s General Counsel.
