ANA Expands NDC Partnership with Trip.com to Offer Full Fare Access Beyond Japan
(IN SHORT) All Nippon Airways has broadened its NDC-powered ticket distribution with Trip.com from Japan to eleven additional markets—Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines—effective June 24, 2025. Customers booking ANA flights on Trip.com in these regions will be able to purchase the same fare classes and manage bookings (changes, refunds) exactly as they would on the ANA website. ANA’s Vice President of Global Sales, Hironobu Kondo, emphasized the airline’s commitment to expanding NDC connectivity, while Trip.com’s PJ Zhou highlighted the joint effort to deliver an end-to-end enhanced travel experience. NDC, an IATA XML standard, enables more dynamic, personalized airline offerings.
(PRESS RELEASE) TOKYO, Japan, 2025-Jun-24 — /Travel PR News/ — All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s largest carrier and a 5-Star airline for 12 straight years, has expanded its New Distribution Capability (NDC) ticketing partnership with Trip.com from its home market to twelve countries across Asia-Pacific and beyond. As of June 24, travelers in Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines can now book ANA flights on Trip.com with the same fares and post-booking options previously available only on ANA’s own website.
Through this enhancement, Trip.com customers gain full access to NDC-enabled benefits—ranging from itinerary changes and refunds to the complete suite of fare products—ensuring a seamless booking and after-sales experience. Furthermore, Trip.com will feature ANA’s entire fare spectrum, giving travelers greater choice and flexibility when securing their tickets.
“By extending our NDC connectivity into these additional markets, we’re thrilled to offer customers enhanced booking capabilities and consistent service levels across both our platform and ANA’s direct channels,” said Hironobu Kondo, Vice President of ANA Global Sales and Distribution, Customer Experience. “We remain committed to broadening our NDC network so that passengers worldwide can enjoy the full range of ANA products.”
PJ Zhou, Regional Airline Director for North Asia at Trip.com, added, “Building on our extensive experience supporting airlines with NDC technology, we’re delighted to deepen our collaboration with ANA. Together, we will deliver an end-to-end travel experience—from booking through post-purchase services—that meets the evolving needs of global travelers.”
About NDC
Developed by IATA, New Distribution Capability is a modern XML-based standard that replaces the legacy EDIFACT messaging format. NDC enables airlines to distribute richly personalized offers, ancillary services, and dynamic content, while simplifying integration with diverse technology partners.
