2012-12-20 — /travelprnews.com/ — From the beginning of May through to the end of September 2013, airberlin will offer a new non-stop connection from Dusseldorf to Rostock-Laage. From there, cruise passengers will have a direct connection to the cruise ship terminal in Warnemünde. For Baltic Sea holidaymakers bus shuttle services are available to holiday areas such as the Mecklenburg Baltic Sea Coast, Fischland-Darß-Zingst or Rügen.
As of 11th May 2013, airberlin will start flying every Saturday at 10:15 from Dusseldorf to Rostock-Laage. Arrival time will be 11:35. The return flight to Dusseldorf departs at 12:05 and arrives at 13:20.
“For cruise passengers, the new connection from Dusseldorf to Rostock is real time-saver. From our terminal, holidaymakers can be on their ship within 30 minutes and don’t have to spend several hours on a bus to Warnemünde,” said Carsten Herget, Managing Director of the Rostock-Laage Airport.
Detlef Altmann, Senior Vice President Sales Touristic Services at airberlin added: ”Starting in May, airberlin will fly once a week from the hub in Dusseldorf to Rostock-Laage, thereby offering an attractive connection, particularly for Baltic Sea holidaymakers.”
Tickets can be booked online at airberlin.com, at the airline’s Service Center on 030/3434 3434 (at local rates) and through travel agencies. The prices include taxes, fees and topbonus miles. Additional information on the Rostock-Laage Airport is available at rostock-airport.de.
