Air France welcomes Michelin-starred French Chef Andrée Rosier as new Business class chef

Paris, France, 2019-Nov-05 — /Travel PR News/ — From November 2019 to February 2020, Michelin-starred French chef Andrée Rosier and a native of the Basque country is signing the dishes on Air France’s Business class menu on departure from Paris.

Over the past few days, on flights departing Paris, Air France has been entrusting the dishes on its Business class menu to Andrée Rosier for the first time. The Michelin-starred chef has created seven dishes including two vegetarian options, available in the Business cabin over the next four months. These gourmet creations influenced by Basque flavours will delight Air France customers.

“It’s a real honour for me to work with Air France and offer the company’s Business customers a choice of dishes inspired by the Basque culture and the South West region”, stated Andrée Rosier.

Andrée Rosier’s dishes on Air France’s Business menu:

  • Tournedos with foie gras sauce, and poêlée landaise;
  • Chicken with shrimp served with paella-style rice;
  • Koskera-style haddock, shellfish sauce and green vegetables;
  • Spicy bulgur, lemongrass piperade and fennel;
  • Saithe cooked in coriander-infused butter with Biscay-inspired ginger;
  • Orzo pasta with piquillo red pepper cream and Espelette pepper;
  • Lamb confit with olives and lemon, pistachio and pepper semolina.

In collaboration with Servair, the leading airline catering company, these menus can be enjoyed on flights on departure from Paris to all Air France long-haul destinations and a selection of medium-haul destinations.

Organization of the “Oh my Chef!” event on a flight to Tokyo!

On 12 November, to celebrate the arrival of the new menus signed by Andrée Rosier, the chef will be on board flight AF272 to Tokyo-Haneda. In the Business cabin, she will present her dishes to customers and hear their impressions. In Premium Economy and Economy cabins, the chef will also be present to exchange with customers and invite them to discover the Basque gourmet creations prepared especially for the occasion.

French chef and native of Bayonne, Andrée Rosier is the first female chef to be awarded the title of Meilleur ouvrier de France in 2007.
