Costa Mesa, CA, 2014-6-17 — /Travel PR News/ — The organizers of the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS), the American Hotel & Lodging Association and Burba Hotel Network, will debut an accompanying legal conference, ALIS Law, January 26-27, 2015, in Los Angeles. The conference, which will be focused on current legal matters of interest to hotel owners, will be held at Marriott’s new Residence Inn and Courtyard hotel located adjacent to L.A. LIVE.
ALIS Law attendees will include general counsel teams of hotel ownership companies, management companies and brands, as well as law firms that advise hoteliers. ALIS Law will cover legal issues not related to the acquisition and development of hotels, which will remain within ALIS, held January 26-28, at the JW Marriott and Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
“We’re pleased to be adding yet another component based on the broad success of ALIS and ALIS Summer Update,” said Jim Burba, president of BHN and chair of ALIS. “With the launch of this new conference, we will be able to tackle many of the critical issues of interest to owners that are not able to be included in the focused hotel investment conference such as ALIS.”
“ALIS Law will be a great new program to complement the already impressive content covered each year at ALIS,” said Katherine Lugar, president/CEO, American Hotel & Lodging Association. “While ALIS covers the actual buying and selling component, this conference focuses on the day after and the many legal issues owners face.”
Early registration opens in August. For general event information and sponsorship opportunities, contact BHN Conference Manager Jodi Braverman.
