(NEWS) BANGKOK, Thailand, 2025-Aug-20 — /Travel PR News/ — IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with SCX Corporation Company Limited, a subsidiary of SC Asset Public Company Limited, to bring a new voco property to Bangkok. The 350-key voco Bangkok Siam is set to open in 2029, marking a major step in the brand’s rapid growth across Southeast Asia. Located on Phayathai Road opposite Siam Discovery Shopping Center and within walking distance of Siam Paragon, Siam Square, MBK Center, and BTS Siam station, the 28-story hotel will stand at the heart of the city’s most vibrant district.
As IHG’s fastest growing premium brand, voco is known for its inviting atmosphere, modern design, and signature touches such as a warm welcome, local treats, and spacious guest rooms designed for comfort. The new Bangkok property will feature a restaurant and bar, fitness facilities, meeting spaces, and a rooftop pool with sweeping views of the city skyline.
Vivek Bhalla, Managing Director for Southeast Asia & Korea at IHG, highlighted Thailand’s strong tourism momentum and said the partnership reflects IHG’s commitment to strengthening the country’s hospitality offering with distinctive experiences. The signing comes as voco continues to expand globally, with 107 hotels already open across 25 countries and more than 100 in the pipeline. The brand recently reached the milestone of 100 open properties within just seven years since its 2018 launch, and its momentum in Southeast Asia includes new openings in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand.
IHG Hotels & Resorts is accelerating the global expansion of its voco brand with a series of high-profile signings, including voco Antalya Konyaaltı, Türkiye’s first voco hotel opening in 2025 on the country’s famed ‘Turkish Riviera’; voco The Club – Dublin Gateway, a scenic 50-room property in Ireland’s County Kildare set to complete its rebrand by summer 2025; and voco Al Mouj Muscat, a 251-key beachfront resort in Oman launching later that year.
