KNOTT’S OFFERS DISCOUNTED ADMISSION
FOR GUESTS BRINGING CANNED FOOD
BUENA PARK, Calif. -2013-01-03 — /travelprnews.com/ — With an estimated 400,000 people at risk of facing hunger every month in Orange County, 42% of whom are children, Knott’s Berry Farm has once again partnered with the Orange County Food Bank to help the community. This year marks Knott’s Berry Farm’s eleventh year coordinating the food drive that feeds thousands in the Orange County area.
To adequately serve the growing list of those in need, Knott’s Berry Farm is asking every guest to donate 2 or more cans at the park January 7-31 and in return will offer a Regular adult admission for the price of $28.99. This special discount offer saves $31 off of the Regular admission which is $59.99 for adults (over age 11).
The collected food will be used by the Orange County Food Bank to help meet the needs of Southern California’s most destitute families and to provide needed donations beyond the traditional holiday period when the demand is great and food supply is low. Thanks to their guests, Knott’s Berry Farm donated over 46,437 lbs of food during last year’s food drive.
