Exciting news for 2026 is that Shearzone will be launching its second property in June, Nzovu Rundu Luxury Camp, located in a pristine area of the Lower Zambezi National Park, renowned for its abundant wildlife , the first of a trio of luxury camps due to all be open by 2028. The new camp will elevate Shearzone luxury to the next level, boasting just 10 chalets (including two family units), all dotted along the banks of the Nkalange Channel on the mighty Zambezi River. Each fully air-conditioned chalet will have a private plunge pool and outdoor shower. With constant wildlife movement along the channel and in the surrounding wilderness, guests can expect exceptional sightings and an immersive safari experience, including walking safaris, canoeing and boat cruises. The camp will also have a luxury spa and impressive wine cellar.

Shearzone launched its first property in 2019, (ahead of the Global pandemic Covid-19) with Mozhi Bush Camp in Kafue National Park, Zambia’s oldest tourism concession. Mozhi is a very intimate camp with just six chalets on the fringe of Busanga Plains, a remote area renowned for its abundant wildlife and birds.
Strategically located at the confluence of the Lufupa and Moshi rivers, this safari gem offers outstanding scenery with its main guest areas overlooking a section of river with a lively resident hippo pod. The camp oozes rustic charm with modest, timeless interiors that celebrate the surrounding wilderness. There is also the Bongololo Campsite nearby, which is the only campsite in Northern Kafue caters for up to 28 campers on a self-catered, self-drive basis.
Shearzone Safaris is also proud to operate its private fleet of Cessna aircraft, providing reliable charter services across Zambia, beyond just connecting its own camps seamlessly.

Looking forwards, Shearzone will also be launching Achikunda Luxury Camp in 2027 and Old Njati Luxury Camp in 2028.
