The Dream Riders Group Announces Brand New Biking Tours across Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh and Meghalaya

GUJARAT, India, 2020-Feb-10 — /Travel PR News/ — Dream Riders has been the go-to company for bikers for biking expeditions and tours across India for several years. In 2020, the company will be adding a few more tours and expeditions to its already long-list of biking trips across the country. These trips will take place across three of the most renowned mountain destinations in India; the north-eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya and the recently formed union territory of Ladakh.

There will be two new Arunachal Pradesh tours. One will take bikers from Assam capital Guwahati to the high-altitude town of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh and then back again to Guwahati in an 8-day expedition. The other one will see bikers start from Guwahati and cross the town of Ziro and the river island of Majuli before culminating at Guwahati; a 10-day affair.

“Arunachal Pradesh is one of the lesser-explored Himalayan destinations in India, but its beauty is unparalleled.”, said Dream Riders owner Hiren Patel. “For quite some time, we have been receiving requests from our followers to start expeditions in the remote and rugged north-eastern state.”, he continued. He also added that Dream Riders’ impeccable safety record in high-altitude regions like Spiti and Sikkim motivated him and his team to “try something more challenging.”

The Meghalaya tour will involve bikers starting from Guwahati and then exploring the state of Meghalaya, famous for its rolling hills and waterfalls. Patel explained how Meghalaya has not been truly explored as a biking destination. “In terms of mountain biking, most bikers go for high-altitude Himalayan routes. However, I have found that the biking experience in Meghalaya is also just as adventurous and thrilling. Yes, the hills may not be as towering and intimidating as the Himalayas, but it is still an extremely beautiful biking destination that is surely worth exploring.”

He also explained how a biking trip in Meghalaya can prepare bikers for tougher expeditions. “A lot of rookie bikers suffer on the high-altitude Himalayan roads due to altitude sickness and also the bad conditions of roads across a variety of routes. However, there are no such worries in Meghalaya.” He claimed that even though the state experiences frequent rains, its relatively low altitude and well-maintained roads made it a much easier biking destination, which makes it “ideal for bikers who are just starting to develop a taste for mountain biking.”

The Ladakh tour will see bikers start from Leh, Ladakh’s capital, and travel through Kargil, Rangdum, and onto Padum, the headquarters of Zanskar, arguably India’s most remote valley. “The Ladakh itinerary is meant for experienced mountain bikers as it is a 10-day biking expedition that traverses three high-altitude passes. The road leading into Zanskar from Kargil is quite rough as well and that’s an understatement”, said Patel.

With the New Year has already begun, bikers will be relishing the prospect of being a part of Dream Riders’ newly launched expeditions according to Patel. “The entire Dream Riders team has done a lot for the biking community in India over the years. It has also catered to international travellers from Europe, Australia and New Zeeland, Netherland and there is no doubting our track record. Therefore it’s quite natural that our latest additions to our catalogue of biking expeditions will be something that both Indian and international biking enthusiasts will be looking forward to in the days to come.”

Only time will tell if these latest tours bring more acclaim to the Dream Riders team. But for now, it’s safe to say that they will surely attract the attention of bikers who seek the thrill of adventure over everything else in life.
