LONDON, 2021-Jul-13 — /Travel PR News/ — Launching today, Tahiti Tourisme’s latest campaign “Words of Mana” offers travellers the chance to connect with The Islands of Tahiti, exploring a unique culture in an unrivalled destination. Coinciding with the recent announcement of its international borders reopening and its recognition by WTTC as a ‘Safe Travels’ destination, the campaign aims to inspire UK travellers through showcasing the meaning of “Mana” which The Islands of Tahiti are famous for.

The social media campaign will be issued across both Instagram and Facebook, delivering a virtual travel experience for those currently unable to travel. Viewers can get a glimpse of the campaign and life in The Islands of Tahiti here.

The campaign shares the spirit of Mana, or the spirit of The Islands of Tahiti, with short clips featuring Tahitian words that inspire feelings of warmth and positivity. Words such as ‘Ia Ora Na’, the national greeting, and ‘Mahana’, meaning sunshine are amongst many being used.

“The Words of Mana campaign gives visitors a chance to engage with the spirit of our islands,” said Jean-Marc Mocellin, CEO of Tahiti Tourisme, “we are eager to welcome travellers back, but until everyone can travel again, our series will provide a momentary escape that will reinvigorate and renew the senses.”
