St. John’s, NL, 2016-Jun-30 — /Travel PR News/ — St. John’s International Airport Authority hosts family-oriented events including an Entertainment Series for travellers in the Airport Terminal Building over the summer season.
“We’re delighted to showcase the local talent of our province,” said Marie Manning, Director of Marketing and Business Development with the St. John’s International Airport Authority. “While we have many scheduled performances to entertain passengers and guests throughout the summer season, we’re also delighted to be able to feature the Trail of Caribou documentary that was created to honour the 100th anniversary of Beaumont-Hamel.
A list of entertainment throughout the summer includes the following:
- YYT Movie Series – many family-friendly movies will be playing throughout the summer season and include: Zootopia; Minions; The Good Dinosaur; and Muppets Most Wanted. In addition to these, CBC’s Trail of Caribou documentary will be featured in honour of the 100th anniversary of Beaumont-Hamel. These will be showing on Level One of the Airport Terminal Building. The Trail of the Caribou will be showing at the following times: 10:00 a.m., 4:50 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
- A schedule of family fun events including many musical performances are listed below. These will take place in the Atrium area, located on Level One of the Airport Terminal Building.
