JERSEY, 2015-7-10 — /Travel PR News/ — The Polish Festival gets our Summer of Festivals off to a tasty and colourful start. There is going to be traditional Polish food to enjoy, and the variety of live music which includes a folk band ‘Kapela Zbooynitsy z Podchala’ from Poland who will play live folk highlander’s music from 4 pm every day in traditional Polish outfit. It is an opportunity to listen to the regional music of some particular part of Poland which is quite unique and specific in its kind.
The great opportunity to try all Polish delicacy as stuffed dumplings: called as “Russian Dumplings” (white cheese and potatoes) and cabbage and mushrooms dumplings. Also you can taste some traditional dish like “Bigos” (stewed cabbage mixed with wild mushrooms, sausages, pork beacon meat and seasonings) – very much recommended to try on and well known Polish barbequed sausages and pork chops with hint of red wine and onion.
It is absolutely delicious as a background for a nice, refreshing, strong Polish beer.
The face painters, a bouncy castle as well as traditional Polish ‘selfie boards’ are going to keep the whole family entertained.
Stalls will include painted ceramic pottery, sheepskin clothes and glassware together with Genuine Jersey craft stalls. Profits will be donated to the Women’s Refuge, Jersey.
Everyone is very much welcome to come and have a great time and enjoyment of Polish cuisine.
