On this occasion it was the under-19 side, which also won top European honours in its category. Iberia was pleased to be the airline chosen for this honour by the Royal Spanish Football Federation, and it congratulates the team for its sixth European title.
At 15:30 h. Iberia’s A-319 “Vencejo”, registered as EC-KOY, reached the company’s hub in Terminal 4 of Madrid-Barajas airport, after a three-and-a-half-hour flight from Tallinn, Estonia.
Meanwhile, Spain’s under-21 national football side, which will take part in this summer’s Olympic Games in London, is using Iberia for its domestic flights to and from practice games.
