Additionally, the airline has added extra seats to La Rochelle in April ahead of the much-anticipated European Rugby Champions Cup match between Munster and La Rochelle on April 5th.

Shannon Airport had a strong year, welcoming over 2.1 million passengers in the past year. Ryanair’s Chief Marketing Officer, Dara Brady, also shared his excitement for the new summer schedule, stating, “We’re pleased to launch our Summer 2025 schedule from Shannon, with the new Madeira route operating four times a week from March 30. Additionally, we’ve added extra flights on eight other routes to offer even more convenience and choice for our mid-west customers. Brady also urged the Irish government to expand the 2026-2030 Regional Airports Programme to further support growth at regional airports, enabling airlines like Ryanair to continue to thrive. “We want to see regional airports grow without being penalized for doing so,” he added.
